Amy Hammond Hagberg has over 20 years experience as a writer, speaker and sales/marketing executive. She has worked in the advertising agency, non-profit and corporate arenas and in industries as varied as yellow pages, energy, information technology and software promotions. She also provides sales training and consulting services to small businesses.
As a freelance writer, she is a frequent contributor to publications around the world including: HomeLife, Living With Teenagers, Christian Singles, Ignite the Fire, Outreach, Sports Spectrum, Relevant, Radiant, Living Light News, DisciplesWorld, The Lookout, Alive!, Christian Woman, Devo’Zine and many others. She is also the author of three books. Her first book, How Do You Know He’s Real: Celebrity Reflections on True Life Experiences with God (Destiny Image Publishers) was released in April 2006. The first in a planned three-book series, it is a collection of testimonies from well-known athletes, musicians and actors on how they know God is real. The second book in the series, How Do You Know He’s Real: God Unplugged is geared for teens and young adults and was released in November 2006. She is also the author of My Favorite Christmas (Integrity Publishers), which was released in November 2006. She is a sought-after speaker at churches all over the country. Amy is a member of the Evangelical Press Association and served as a judge in their 2007 Awards of Excellence. She is co-editor of the Author’s Co-op, an online community of writers and involved in writer’s groups too numerous to mention.
Amy has extensive life experiences. She has been married for over 22 years and has two teenagers. She is the director of drama at her church, leads a couple’s small group with her husband and is heavily involved in her community.
